Upcoming Screenings of “The Waltz”

The Fortunoff Archive is pleased to announce that "The Waltz," an animated film by 2022 Vlock Fellow Yulia Ruditskaya, has been selected for two film festivals.

  • The 19th Annual Animation Block Party at BAM Film in Brooklyn, New York (August 12-13, 2022). The festival will screen "The Waltz" on August 13th within the Animation Block Summer Mix – Volume Two program starting at 6:00 PM EDT. The Vlock Fellowship was inaugurated in 2020 to honor the memory of Laurel Fox Vlock, a television producer and cofounder of the Holocaust Survivors Film Project. The fellowship supports filmmakers to produce a series of films based on testimonies from the Fortunoff Video Archive. Learn more about the film series here.
